Nanosolar Powersheets - cheap and environmental friendly energy
By Nick November 16, 2007
One of the biggest problems we face is the electrical power and we are polluting the environment while producing it, so we needed an environmental way to generate it. Fortunately, the Nanosolar Powersheets can treat this problem and generate fully environmental friendly power, that’s also cheap and reliable.
It’s not the first solar power generating technology, but it’s the first one that will really get in mass production, due to it’s price and reliability. This technology could produce energy at a cost of 30 cents a watt, but that’s not clear yet. Even if it doesn’t, considering the price of $1 a watt produced by goal, it’s still cheap and much easier to produce.
The Nanosolar Powersheets are totally different from the other technologies, eliminating the use of silicon and glass, that were expensive, hard to transport and place. The sheets are easy, can be place on roofs, windows and anywhere they have access to solar light and your imaginations leads you to.
There’s already a factory built in San Jose, that should produce 430 megawatts of solar cell energy, once it’s production starts, in Q1 2008. The first 100,000 cells will be distributed to Europe to generate 1.4 megawatts.
Way to go for this technology, it’s another step for a healthier environment !
